Jeffrey B. Peltz: I was born and currently reside in Brooklyn, New York. I am married and have one son. I became a lawyer so that I can help others. Early on, I decided to establish my own law firm, so that I could practice law in the way that I thought it should be practiced. I believed that clients should be treated with respect and that it was my job to resolve each client’s problem quickly, inexpensively and in the least stressful manner possible. I think of our clients as our extended family. In fact, I have known many of them for more than ten years and some for more than twenty years.
I attended the New York City public schools. In 1980, I graduated from the College of Staten Island with a Bachelor of Science in Economics with highest honors. In 1983, I graduated from Pace Law School in White Plains and was admitted to practice law at the New Jersey Bar. In 1984, I was admitted to practice in New York.
From 1984 to 1985, I was a partner in the law firm of Peltz &McSweeney, which was located in Fair Lawn, New Jersey. I returned to Brooklyn in 1986 and established the law firm of Jeffrey B. Peltz, P.C. at 26 Court Street. We are still located there. Since my law firm was established, we have helped more than 20,000 clients with matters involving accidents, bankruptcy, divorce, family law, immigration, real estate, wills and estates.
I am a member of the Brooklyn Bar Association, the New York State Bar Association and the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys (NACBA). In addition to New York and New Jersey, I am also admitted to practice law in the Federal Courts of New Jersey, the Eastern District of New York, Southern District of New York, and the Northern District of New York.
Venkatesan Anandarangam: Although I was born in Madras, India, I was raised in New Jersey. I currently reside in New Jersey with my wife and twin daughters. As an attorney, I see myself as a problem solver. I am here to solve our clients’ problems and to put them at ease. Over the years with the law firm of Jeffrey B. Peltz, P.C., I have been honored to serve thousands of clients. Many have referred their friends, family and colleagues to us. There is no higher complement than that. I have been with the law firm of Jeffrey B. Peltz, P.C. since 1995..
I graduated from Rutgers University with a Bachelor of Science. I attended and graduated from the Touro Law School on Long Island. I am admitted to both the New Jersey Bar and the New York Bar. In addition, I am admitted to practice law before the United States Supreme Court, the United States District Courts of New Jersey and the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York. I am also admitted to practice before the Immigration and Naturalization Service.
I am a member of the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys (NACBA).
Among the areas that I practice are bankruptcy, matrimonial law, family law, immigration, wills and estates, corporations, personal injury, and real estate.
